Unicoi state park has a beautiful lake with a beach and a shallow swimming area just right for the kids. You can rent canoes or paddle boats or launch your own boat.  If you leave the park and turn left there are several Tubing companies that rent tubes for a nominal fee and after drifting down the Chatahoochie River will pick your group up and bring you back to your car.
